Our Adoption Information

In 2005, John and I decided to adopt our first child from China. We paper-chased and prepared ourselves for adoption for six months. On December 13, 2005 our dossier was received in China on December 13, 2005 and was logged in on December 27. We waited an agonizing 27 months for our referral. On February 4, 2007 we received that referral for our beautiful daughter Catherine. On March 16, 2007 we were finally united with her in Fengdu, China. Here are some links that tell our story.

    Your daughter is absolutely beautiful!!! I remember reading your blog a long time ago while you were waiting, it’s good to see your daughter in your arms. I need to bookmark you so that I can come back and see her growing.
