Autumn Decorations 2
I know, I know, I know! It’s the end of November and I should be showing you my Christmas decorations. However, since it’s technically still November and Thanksgiving was only yesterday, I feel like it’s okay to show you my autumn decorations. And seriously, how is it the end of November?!
I have had these decorations up since the beginning of October and I refused to join the crowd of people that insist on decorating for Christmas at the beginning of November, so I keep this stuff up until the day after Thanksgiving. I love the fall and since we really don’t have that season here in Houston, I like to keep the fall items around for as long as possible. I have added a few new items to the collection and have had to replace my little straw animals but here are just a few shots of what our house looks like during the harvest part of the year:
I got this idea from a couple of other bloggers who put seasonal childrens books into baskets:
I love wreaths (I got this from my Mom), and so I try to hang wreaths from the kitchen pantry door and the door to the master bedroom:
