The Blues ¹

I have a serious case of the blues.  I always manage to get a case of the blues when I come back from California but this time I am a bit more melancholy.  I am sure this is caused from a number of issues: my body clock is totally out of whack since I have been in three different time zones in less than two weeks; I’m sick with the dreaded travel bug; I just spent my last two trips in two of my favorite cities and now it’s back to reality; I have to unpack; I have to get back to reality (at least for two weeks and then I’m off again); I don’t have any great wine to drink or chocolate to eat; I don’t have the wind in the trees or the fog horns to wake me up in the middle of the night; reality; back to the heat….I just need to stop or I will be even more depressed.

I miss New York!  I miss San Francisco!
