4 ¹

Catherine turned 4 only a short couple of weeks ago.  It’s hard to believe how quickly time has gone by and just how much she has grown.  I’m not sure where the baby went because she is looking acting more and more like an older child every day.  Last week we went to Galveston to take her annual birthday photos.  She was a bit more cooperative than in previous years but not much.  She hates having her picture taken!  She is getting old enough to bribe though and she can handle to taking shots in more than one location.  I think they turned out pretty well and out of over 200 shots that I took, about 20 of them are favorites.  I will be posting more at the flickr album.

• She now sleeps in an adult sized bed
• All of her toys have been moved into her room and she likes to play in there quite a bit
• She loves Toy Story and she totes around her Jesse doll all over the place
• She has several favorite movies
• She is not a fan of ballet.  It’s too slow for her
• She does NOT like to be outside if she can help it
• She asked for flowers for her birthday
• She is great at catching lizards
• She collects My Little Ponies and Littlest Pet Shoppes
• She spends a lot of time writing and coloring.
• She has best friends
• She still hates big crowds and a lot of noise
• She doesn’t like to eat unless it’s junk food
• She wants to be 26 so she can drive
• She wants to be anything that’s older than 4
• She loves horses.  She has several that she carries around with her.
• Still loves to shove as many toys as she can into whatever bags she can find.  She is going to be the bag lady when she gets older.
• She likes to tell nonsensical knock knock jokes.
• She could live at the beach and if we could afford it, we would.
