Travesty 2
I am absolutely sick to my stomach about the decisions that were made in regard to the shuttles and where they will be displayed, as well as the news I heard tonight about ‘NASA’ dismantling the training simulators and moving them out of Houston. I only live about 6 miles (if that) from the Johnson Space Station and many of my friends either work there or are contracted workers for NASA. It seems like somebody has the upper-hand in this situation and that they are motivated to destroy Houston. Anyway, I have a much longer post for tomorrow about this. I need a few hours to cool off before I post something I might regret.

How it can be cheaper to tear down all that infrastructure, etc. I don’t know. Plus Houston has some amazing educational opportunities for Scouts and school groups and home-school groups, and…..

Well, that was high on our list of places to visit this fall, so if they think it doesn’t draw tourism they are wrong.
