Congrats on keeping her in the crib! I wish we could have been able to do that...but then we are finally sleeping through the night...so that's a HUGE milestone!

We are also working on our last 2 year molars. I read recently in a child development book that they would be in by 2 1/2...nope...not ours!

She's come so far in SO MANY ways! Our baby girls are growing up...sniff, sniff.

Three soon? Mind-boggling as to how fast the time flies! And oh my lands, I remember the loading up and emptying out of boxes and bags. That stage seems to last FOR-E-VER! The Tongginator was in her crib until three and then moved to a toddler bed until she turned four. We had hoped to skip the toddler bed completely, but she was having none of that!

I too wish I had taken that class or even read a book, and found myself struggling. Oh sure, I read *all* the adoption books, why couldn't I have read just one on what to expect when we were actually dealing with the day to day? If I had one piece of advice to those waiting, this would be it. It's not all about adoption ... it's life.

Emi turns three in less than a month (eeps!), and she is still in her crib. She hasn't attempted to crawl out (yet) but attempts to crawl in now and then. I figure, containment is a good thing! Also, the familiar seems to be what she craves now, so we are going to keep her there until at least three. I hear more and more people doing that. Nice to know someone out there is doing it too!

Cheers!
Kiy

P.S. BTW, great picture!
