Scenes from Nebraska 4
We are having a great time here in Omaha. It’s a bit chilly for this Texan but like I said in a previous post, I need to get one more bout of cold weather in before I settle into the routine of hot summer days. It’s supposed to snow quite a bit tomorrow. Today it has already hailed a bit and the weather has been gloomy but it’s perfect for lounging.
We have mostly been playing at a nearby park, visiting the zoo (which is rated one of the top 10 zoos in the United States) and reading on the couch. My kind of vacation. I am missing John though. He had to stay back home to take care of his mother. She had pretty major surgery on Tuesday.

Looks like fun! We just drove through Omaha last weekend. And yes, they do have an awesome zoo…I haven’t been there for several years, okay, decades.

She looks like she is having fun and learning more and more. I see those little wheels clicking in her head in that last photo. Can not wait to see you next week. Love ya
