Happy 1 Year Family Day! 12
Seriously?! Has it been a year? It’s so hard to believe that 12 months ago today we became a forever family with this beautiful, funny and vivacious little girl. Who knew that a year could be filled with so much emotion and go by so slow some days but yet be gone in the blink of an eye? Catherine has been a joy and I am so happy and forever grateful to China for letting us have the opportunity to parent this child. I also think of her birth parents on this day, as I do on so many other days.

Happy Anniversary to the Norris Family. I am with Heidi….I remember those pictures from China that I always waited to come through as you would update us on your trip. I remember going to bed the night you were having Gotcha Day and remembering in a couple of hours she will be in Wendy and John’s arms. Love you all so very much. Okay I am tearing up…Love you, Lisa

I can’t believe the change a year has brought in her appearance. She was a baby, and now she looks like a such big girl. Her hair especially, it’s so long now! If you think this year went fast, HANG ON, because the next few years will fly by, too. Before you know it she’ll be in elementary school, and diapers, potty training, sippy cups, and carrying her around in your arms will be a distant memory! Savor the moments, and keep scrapping and recording. Best wishes for your whole family!

I just can’t even believe it’s been a year already! How much of a contradiction is it that I can say time flies as it relates to you being home with Catherine but drags as another year passes with me still waiting for Mia? Weird how that works… LOL!
