As I am exploring and expanding the way I create and document my life, I have come across several online programs that I have really enjoyed working with. I have to say that I have decided to not give up on paper scrapbooking right now but I am taking a break for a bit and branching out to archiving my photos and memories in new ways, mostly online.
One particular company that I have been enjoying is Smilebox. They offer online scrapbooks, photobooks,slide shows, eCards, postcards and more! I love that not only can you add photos to the different projects but you can add video and music as well. One of these days, paperscrapbooking will have the ability to add video to a page but until then, Smilebox will have to do.
I also really enjoy that they have so many templates available so there are lots of great choices to make for each project. I am currently working on a slideshow for my response to Hurricane Ike. I like the backgrounds and templates that they have to make that slideshow look its best. I am also working on a super-cute scrapbook but it's a secret for now! I promis I will show you soon.
Anyway, if you are in the exploration mode as I am, check out Smilebox. I think you will love it like I do! I really have been stretched on a creative level using these types of programs. It helps to break out of the box or rut sometimes.
