OMG she is so cute!!! I am so happy for you! I have been reading your blog for a while now and I am just giddy with excitement for you and your husband!! I am going to be anxious to see about your trip to get that cutie! The hair is adorable! Oh I know your going to love being a mom! CONGRATULATIONS! Your daughter is just beautiful!! I am so happy for you two. I’ve been checking everyone’s blog who posted their link on RQ and saw yours. It brings back memories of the first time I saw my daughter. It’s amazing, you think that once you have your child home that you will no longer check RQ but you will, especially when you know referrals are coming.

She is adorable! She has hair! I know the first thing you will do when you meet her is run your fingers through that hair of hers! Since it will likely be springtime when you go get her, hopefully the orphanage will not have given her a summer shave yet.
I just love her eyes, so bright and filled with curiosity.
I love the name you chose for her also. Catherine is a classically beautiful name that will carry her well through life.
When CCAA tucks photos into the referrals, I wonder if they have any idea how many people will see those pictures, and how intently the new parents will stare at them trying to decipher their new child’s personality from a single expression.
I was off by one month on her birthday (I guessed April 5, but it’s May 5 — a Cinco de Mayo baby! Bring on the guacamole and celebrate!)
